Vehicle Detail
Thanks for taking a look at my 1992 Ford Bronco. I bought it as a project a little over 2 years ago and I haven't had the time to finish it, so it's time to pass it on to someone who will. It started as an Eddie Bauer model 92. Factory options include auto trans, 5.8l 351ci V8, 4 wheel drive, power windows, locks and mirrors, cruise control, and air conditioning. I drove it a few times before I started the upgrades and it drove great. I probably put 4 or 500 miles on it in a couple months. I wanted to do that to seem if there was anything mechanical that would need attention, and overall it was really solid. I stared the upgrades in the spring of 2014. One of the first things it got was a 4" Superlift suspension system. I spent the extra money and went with Bilsteen shocks instead of the standard Superlift shocks. This should make for a much better ride. The wheels and tries were upgraded to 17x9 Helo wheels with 33" tires. The body got 4 coats of Anthracite Gray Plasti-Dip for a durable, easy to touch up, finish. The removable top was painted satin black to better compliment the gray than the factory tan. Other exterior Upgrades include new led projector headlights and turn signals, new projector style taillights and third taillight (in the center of the hardtop), new front and rear bumpers, new power side mirrors, and a new gloss black factory style grille. Interior upgrades include a fully bedlined tub, power electric seats out of a mid 90's Explorer, a new locking center console, new window felt, and a new rear view mirror. As it sits it will run and drive, but it has not been aligned since the lift was installed so it would not be advisable to drive it far or at highway speeds. The dash has been painted black and is just sitting in it. The gauge cluster and the dash controls have not been reinstalled yet, but I have all of them and everything worked when it was pulled out. The headlights are not wired in yet, the led portion of them requires splicing into the factory wiring. The center console hasn't been bolted into position yet. The windows, mirrors, and locks all work. The rear window worked fine when I bought it, but it has since quit. I suspect it is simply a blown fuse or a bad ground. Let me stress... There are/were NO RUST ISSUES with this Bronco. As far as I can tell it hasn't had any body work. The floor pans, and rockers are both clean and very solid. The drivetrain functions exactly as it should, the 351 has no knocks, the trans pulls hard and strong, and the transfer case engages exactly the way it should. It does need some work to finish it up, but at the starting price you'd be buying it for less than you can buy a clean stock Bronco... Not to mention the few thousand dollars in parts and upgrades. I've got a couple videos of it running that I haven't been able to get to upload onto here. If you'd like them let me know and I'll email them to you. If you're interested in having it delivered I can help with that as well, just let me know. Thanks again for looking and good luck. *That is tape you see on the rear glass on the drivers side, it just needs peeled off. Also, I forgot to mention that all of the parts I have will go with it. That includes the original seats (rear seat included), the spare tire holder, factory front and rear bumpers, and a few parts that I bought and haven't installed (a set of short tube headers, a Kenwood head unit, and a set of infinity speakers).
