Vehicle Detail

1954 Ford F100 Frankenstein Rat rod : This F100 is sitting on an S10 chassis, has front disc brakes, front independent suspension, 350 chevy engine recently rebuilt, Th-400 automatic transmission, new complete wiring harness, head lights, tail lights, blinkers, all work, there are no wipers, and no heater. The plan was to install a vintage or mohave heater. The truck has new bed, new fiberglass 3 inch wider rear fenders from speedway motors, the bed floor still needs to be done so there is just a piece of plywood in it for now. fuel cell is in the rear, electric fuel pump, 20x12 rear wheels and 18x8 front are new american racing shelby wheels. New bear claw latches installed for doors, new floor and firewall in cab, por 15'd and sound deadened, Lokar shifter, billet half wrap steering wheel. New Holly carb, HEI ignition, electric fan, aluminum radiator. The front nose has been sectioned 3 inches (shorter). I never liked the way the F100 trucks these years have a nose that seemed to long, so I sectioned it and pancaked the hood. I think it looks better this way, thats just my opinion though. I call this a rat rod because i bought it at a good price from a guy in idaho and he already had it mounted on the s10 chassis, wired and running. I liked the S10 ifs for the ride quality, i just did a little body work, and sectioned it and put the fan on and wheels, did a few other things like the shifter the steering wheel, the floor and a new carb, it was never meant to be a show truck, just a shop truck. The hood was already made into a butterfly hood and all dented and warped so i made it as straight as i could which required cutting it up quite a bit and pie cutting it to fit the sectioned nose. I whipped up running boards, bought new rear fenders and hung them. Once again this truck was not meant to be real nice and never will be its just a good running shop truck you can buy for a great price and have fun with. The truck is located in Kalispell Montana, zip code 59901, if you want to check on shipping. Call Mitch with any questions, 406-270-7585
