While looking for a mint 80-series I came across an ad for this is the middle of the mountain range outside of Salem, OR. It had the best service records I had even seen (I spent 9 years with Toyota service) every recommendation was completed at that visit or scheduled. Sadly the interior was the dirtiest I had ever seen. It was a company vehicle for a company that supplied logging mills with chain tracks and motors to run the mills. They also had an AMG G-Wagon and E class Mercedes as well, ll were filthy... Clear and free title. After buying it I gutted the interior and degreased all the plastic parts piece by piece. Then my OCD kicked in and here's a partial list of what was replaced over the next few years. All OE Toyota parts unless specified were used. This Land Cruiser shows very well, has no dents, scratches in the body and runs as new with NO issues. Interior has no cuts, rips, tears anyplace that I am aware of. The seats are soft and supple and well cared for. I built this as my daily driver and exploring vehicle. I have only used 4L and lockers once. The miles maybe high, but it's the best platform that Toyota has and has been maintained more than any other on the planet. Windshield (Pilkington) and side trim. Steering wheel was recovered Shifter and LH know were replaced with new. Front seats and middle row seat covers (leather) were replaced with new New front seat cushions in pass and drivers seats Heated seat inserts were replaced and upgraded from wire to carbon fiber Front dash vents were re foamed (had a whistle) Front carpet and rear carpet were replace with new Door skin and panels were sound deadened on all doors for a solid feel and quit ride. All panel clips, maroon and yellow were replaced through out. Complete automotive sound deadening was laid throughout the rear and middle and inside fenders and most was doubled up. UV and darkest tint on all glass Windshield is tinted with UV resistant tint. All speakers were replaced with Pioneer Speaker covers replaced LED lighting inside Lower dash under wheel replaced with cold weather version with hand throttle (must for winch) Exterior and drive-train. CruiserParts supplied the factory Toyota snorkel, fender and complete parts to install. Fender was professionally painted and installed. JDM marker light Antenna was relocated to drivers fender 2007 Land Cruiser headlights, Grille lower trim, rear lights and marker lights were replaced with 2007 LED models. The headlight bulbs are the latest generation of LED and amazing. Slee front bumper that has no damage and Slee fair lead. Badlands 12k winch with wireless remote and synthetic line and hook. Slee Diff Drop Slee dual battery tray T-Max dual battery set up hidden in glove box New Toyota Battery (primary) Rear (4) upper and lower trailing arms and bushings were replaced 2 years ago and made a HUGE improvement on driving. OE Chrome wheels (new) 4 years ago with center caps New radiator and hoses replaced 2.5 years ago Starter was rebuilt Coolant was replaced last fall Front diff, rear diff, Trans, PS fluids have been replaced countless times Brake fluid has been flushed and done correctly with Toyota's tool to flush the ABS module. Rear wheel bearing replaced Ball joints were replaced Steering rack bushing replaced with poly Vented and slotted rotors with new- pads 2.5 years ago Tires are Toyo MT Open Country 285/75-16 Weather Tech mats since carpets were replaced (as new) Side moldings repainted due to fading High flow cats and O2 sensors replaced Bully dog muffler that sounds and works well Alternator was replaced last fall with OE Roof rack is a prototype and full length. Few months old 40" SSR light bar that's a few months old Rear antenna mount with FireStik and not wired 2-12v sockets and 1-USB in the rear cargo area Rear gate carpet has been replaced with HDPE gate cutting board Speski rear cargo barrier that has just been powder coated and installed and as new. Does not leak R diff, F diff, trans fluid or oil. Fan clutch was replaced at the time the radiator was Front axles were replaced and bans were replaced with German worm for better grease retention New NOS wood grain set from Toyota All work done by my Toyota Master Tech or myself. Two master remote keys Vol 1 and Vol 2 FSM manuals Complete front end parts kit. Rotors, inner and outer bearings, seals, washers, nuts and pads. (rotors are warped and going back to whats best, OE Two OE oil filters Set of 4 door lock actuators (aftermarket) Much much more I will remember and add later. It's truly and great platform and running 100 series I will miss greatly. Only selling as I have a great debt to pay, for last years hospital stays, surgeons, xrays, Dr's and so on. On Feb-04-16 at 16:12:52 PST, seller added the following information: Q- Can 3rd row seats be installed again.. A- Yes. you will need to purchase the seats which are cheap as many do not use them. You will also need to purchase the shoulder belts. Q-Lift and susp detail. A- It has OME springs and shocks all the way around Q- Does it have a locker A- Yes it has the factory locker Lug nuts are new three years ago (not cheap) Wiper arms have been powder coated a year ago and wiper blades are less than a month old. Has factory hitch Spare tire has never been dropped to my knowledge and should be replaced as I am sure it's past viable. Has two OE fog and light bar switches in the factory locations and not wired at this time.
