1980 Mercedes Benz 450SL Convertible. I bought this car for my son around 3 years ago for $3,000. We were going to restore it together as these cars are skyrocketing in value. He went to collage in Boston & has a new girl friend & has no plans to come back soon, so the car has been sitting in El Cerrito in storage for the past 2 years. I want it out & have At least $8341. in receipts on work done plus purchase price. All that is left to do is paint & some interior work (I personally would just put sheepskins on it ) Has the Removable Hard Top . Car runs and drives great has the big block 450 V8 with around 198000 miles ans still runs like a champ. Body is still in decent shape with only a few blemishes it does have a 3 inch scratch on driver door, but not bad looking for its age. Interior does need a little TLC. This would be a fantastic deal for someone out there. All the hard work has been done, now it's just the cosmetics. Car is not registered or insured, so no test drives. You can start it & inspect. My loss your gain. First $3,000 firm. No trades. No low ballers. $3,000 cash. Clean title in hand.
