My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptional 1997 Range Rover 4.0 SE with just 146k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Range Rover to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. If you follow my auctions, you will know that I rarely give the "excellent" rating to any vehicle. However, this Range Rover is absolutely gorgeous. It is finished in classic white over brown, which looks amazing. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. I won't go as far as saying the exterior is perfect, but you'd have to be pretty picky to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior. The green and tan factory stripe along the side looks great and has what looks to be a custom, hand painted Rhino at the back just over the stripe. All of the body moldings are present and show well. There is barely a mark to be found anywhere on this truck. The worst I can say about the exterior is a crack along the far left side of the windshield. Otherwise, all of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber with deep, deep tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this truck looks. I would rate the interior of this Range Rover to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The dark brown leather interior looks great against the white exterior and the black piping matches the exterior moldings. The door cards are clean and tight. Throughout the interior, the carpets show as new. A full set of OE Range Rover all weather floor mats are included. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather is supple and comfortable, not dried out and brittle. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and looks to be working properly. If I'm being honest, I'm not really impressed with the heat. Maybe one of the blend doors is stuck or something. The audio system sounds good. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. This Range Rover comes with a complete set of books, manuals, CD's and service records since new. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover. Mechanically, this Range Rover appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Braking and steering feel good, too. This Range Rover is still riding on air, as it was intended to be. The EAS system appears to be working properly and the air bags do not deflate when the truck sits. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. The check engine light is on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The full time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The only bad thing I can point out is that you get an annoying little "wind noise" at highway speeds like air is catching under a piece of rubber. It looks as if this Range Rover has recieved exceptional care throughout its whole life. In the service book, there is record of every scheduled service being performed at a Range Rover dealership since new. Additionally, there are extremely detailed hand written records spanning the whole life of this Range Rover. If I am reading the notes correctly, it looks as if this Range Rover has had a new short block installed at around 100,000 miles which would mean that all of the gaskets (including head gaskets) and seals have around 40k miles on them. Along with all the books and records are CD-ROM's for service manuals,ect. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover. Like most older Rover's, she isn't perfect. Like they say, "it's never over with a Rover". If you've been looking for an exceptional Range Rover with excellent history, this one deserves your serious consideration. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptional 1997 Range Rover 4.0 SE with just 146k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Range Rover to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. If you follow my auctions, you will know that I rarely give the "excellent" rating to any vehicle. However, this Range Rover is absolutely gorgeous. It is finished in classic white over brown, which looks amazing. The white finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. I won't go as far as saying the exterior is perfect, but you'd have to be pretty picky to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior. The green and tan factory stripe along the side looks great and has what looks to be a custom, hand painted Rhino at the back just over the stripe. All of the body moldings are present and show well. There is barely a mark to be found anywhere on this truck. The worst I can say about the exterior is a crack along the far left side of the windshield. Otherwise, all of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber with deep, deep tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this truck looks.
I would rate the interior of this Range Rover to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The dark brown leather interior looks great against the white exterior and the black piping matches the exterior moldings. The door cards are clean and tight. Throughout the interior, the carpets show as new. A full set of OE Range Rover all weather floor mats are included. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather is supple and comfortable, not dried out and brittle. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and looks to be working properly. If I'm being honest, I'm not really impressed with the heat. Maybe one of the blend doors is stuck or something. The audio system sounds good. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. This Range Rover comes with a complete set of books, manuals, CD's and service records since new. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover.
Mechanically, this Range Rover appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Braking and steering feel good, too. This Range Rover is still riding on air, as it was intended to be. The EAS system appears to be working properly and the air bags do not deflate when the truck sits. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. The check engine light is on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The full time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The only bad thing I can point out is that you get an annoying little "wind noise" at highway speeds like air is catching under a piece of rubber. It looks as if this Range Rover has recieved exceptional care throughout its whole life. In the service book, there is record of every scheduled service being performed at a Range Rover dealership since new. Additionally, there are extremely detailed hand written records spanning the whole life of this Range Rover. If I am reading the notes correctly, it looks as if this Range Rover has had a new short block installed at around 100,000 miles which would mean that all of the gaskets (including head gaskets) and seals have around 40k miles on them. Along with all the books and records are CD-ROM's for service manuals,ect. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Range Rover. Like most older Rover's, she isn't perfect. Like they say, "it's never over with a Rover". If you've been looking for an exceptional Range Rover with excellent history, this one deserves your serious consideration. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
