1979 Firebird Formula, this is a southern car and is very rust free, floors are solid and there is no rust in the typical F-body spots. A little rust on the inside of the trunk lid but nothing that cannot be repaired. I have the original build sheet and a lot of original manuals that came with the car. Very straight and has decent paint on it. Interior is original and in decent shape for it's age, showing some weathering. The back seat is sun rotted on the top, but is easily repaired with a new cover. One crack in the dash pad. The engine is a numbers matching 403ci Oldsmobile 6.6L with excellent oil pressure. Starts easy even on cold days. I just changed the oil 2 days ago. Newer exhaust with glass packs. It sounds good and not too loud. New starter and I just changed the transmission filter. Slight exhaust manifold leaks on both sides. I have a set of extra heads for it if you want them. Has the original th350 transmission is in it as well. Shifts well, reverse, 1st and 2nd are great. It was slipping out of 3rd so I changed the vaccum modulator, now it shifts into 3rd but only at high rpms. I am aware that you can adjust the vaccum regulator but I don't want to screw anything up. The shocks and corners great, no body roll. And the steering is nice and tight. It came from the factory with AC compressor was removed but can easily be put back, the WS7 performance package, Power windows, Deluxe interior, this car is original as it gets! Great restoration progect while you drive it. I've tried to describe the car to the best of my ability but please ask questions if you have any. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours.
