Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a gorgeous, low-mileage, extremely low idle-hours, absolutely beautiful 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. This is a very nice example of a Crown Victoria which was, arguably, the best car ever produced. This car was previously owned by a Detective in Greensburg Pennsylvania, and has only 115,xxx actual, documented miles and 104 actual idle hours on it. This is a beautiful example of a hard to find car that has some very desirable options. BE AWARE OF IDLE HOURS. Ford states 1 idle hour equals around 35 miles. Many sellers will not state them because their car will have low miles but very high idle hours, which equates to very high miles. ASK ABOUT IDLE HOURS!!! This unit is loaded with options including cloth bucket front seating with side air bags, and full, factory carpeting. Aside from being a Police Interceptor, this car was also ordered with the coveted 3.55 performance ratio "Traction-Lok" limited-slip rear differential (code C6, ordered on less then 25% of units), power adjustable pedals, driver and passenger airbags, factory AM/FM stereo, and power mirrors, windows, power trunk release, and locks. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car. In my years of buying and selling vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of this unit. It has been extremely well maintained, actually over-maintained, and needs no known repairs. It is in excellent condition inside and out. This Crown Victoria is finished in Black with a blue pinstripe and Dark Charcoal interior. It has a spotless AutoCheck vehicle history report and only 115,xxx actual original miles on it. The interior is in excellent shape. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs, drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. The trunk compartment is extremely clean. The rear doors have been professionally modified so that they OPEN FROM THE INSIDE NOW. Parts alone for this modification were over $300 per door. A center console was also installed for comfort and convenience. This unit is also equipped with, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter SOHC V8 engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, optional heavy-duty 3.55 ratio "Traction-Lok" limited-slip rear axle, 235-55-17 police-spec, Good Year Eagle RS-A ultra-high performance radials that are mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 17" vented police wheels (currently has new Firestone Snow tires on the rear), stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, police-spec 4-wheel disc brakes, severe-duty suspension, heavy-duty cooling, lamp pre-wire group, certified 140-mph speedometer, idle hour meter, and much, much more. For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you are probably already aware that the 2004 and newer years are the ones to own. All Crown Victorias produced from 2004-onward utilized the new, improved, 250-horsepower 4.6 liter V8 engine and are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes that were made, mainly in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake setup. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. Crown Victorias like this one are becoming nearly extinct, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for one of the nicest ones you will ever find, that is loaded with options, with low mileage and very low idle hours. This unit is in absolutely excellent condition inside and out and is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is beautiful (please see the pictures). This Crown Vic is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has very little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used vehicle. This vehicle, as most used vehicles do, will have imperfections This is a very nice driving, tight unit...not a beat-up police car. It is as close to driving a brand-new car as you will ever experience. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2010 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE AND HOURS, IF AT ALL, IN THIS CONDITION. Please take the time to read this entire description. This vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Call or text Larry at 301-440-0021 with any questions or to arrange to see and drive the vehicle. A $99.00 DEALER FEE WILL BE ADDED TO ALL AUCTIONS. THIS FEE COVERS ALL PAPERWORK AND A 30 DAY TAG. This vehicle is also for sale locally so auction may be ended early.
