This 1999 VW new beetle runs and drives excellent. It has the very dependable 2.0L gas engine and automatic transmission. Everything including the air conditioning works as it should . It was owned by a non smoker. This car is also  equipped with side airbags. The body is solid, I have taken a picture of the undercarriage. The tires and brakes have been recently replaced. The power sun roof is a nice option and works well. It has just had a tune up.  It is a GLS . There are not many beetles ( nice low mileage ones ) in this price range, so if you are looking to spend less than $4000.00, this is a very good buy. I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car ( or more than one ) from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car like this one. No exceptions. Because of the price of gasoline and the slow selling season, I'm getting some very good prices on deliveries. I can get it delivered for a lot less than last year!  Also there is no charge, or time limit to store this car for you .Take as much time as you need to make the best pickup arrangements. P.S After over 13 years with ebay motors and in business since 1976, I was left a very nasty and untrue negative feedback from a customer who decided that a Subaru Forester was not the vehicle they wanted., Even though the phone calls from the buyer to my wife, admitted it ran excellent. This car was owned here by a local girl and had passed all Massachusetts emissions and safety sticker requirements. I offered a full refund, but the customer wanted me to pay transportation both ways. $1400.00 each way. This is a way used frequently on ebay to extort some kind of compensation. Most sellers will pay. I feel this is wrong.  I also have a bill of laden from the transporter ( hired by the buyer ) showing no defects. I don't think this is fair and I don't think I deserve the feedback that was given. I've worked very hard to satisfy my customers and will continue to do so. Also, just as I predicted, the vehicle is registered and being used on a regular basis. Would you allow a family member to drive an unsafe car? I don't think so. Thank you  and take care,  Dickie.
