1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore Red Rocket. Its a reconditioned "USED" vintage MX bike NOT Restored (but it almost looks show quality). What was done; the engine was completely stripped down powder coated cases and cylinder, New piston & rings gaskets, oil seals, crank bearings & 6 mm hardware. The rod was still tight and good to go. The frame was stripped and powder coated all new hardware installed. Has new swing arm & steering stem bearings from ALL BALLS installed. The gas tank has been reconditioned to a near factory finish. Has new rear tire & VG cond. front tire. The Gold Moose chain & sprocket set only have a few rides on them. The chain rollers are 1 year old used. The Fenders are VMX about 1 year old minimal scratches. The Number plates are OEM Very nice original cond. The seat is in very nice used condition with minimal wear. Handle bars were powder coated gold with new controls. The forks are original good usable condition with "DG" style air caps new fork boots no marks on work area of fork tubes. The rear shocks are used & repainted progressive style, they dont leak & dampen well. The exhaust header pipe has few minor dings the silencer has some larger dents but both plenty usable. The rims are original have some imperfections but plenty usable. The color of paint & powder coating is the tahitian red as original. It was test riddin and ripps as it should starts right up hot or cold. This bike took about 60 hours of labor to make it look and perform this good. Its sold AS IS.
