Don't be the guy that still hasn't asked his wife, mother, dog or his kids teacher for permission) I have sold a few Land Cruisers and various vintage 4x4's here on eBay with super happy buyers so bid with confidence 1982 Jeep CJ-5, 2.5 its 4 cylinder Iron Duke, 4-speed, 4x4. Clean CarFax and Auto Check. NO RUST. This is a sweet little CJ5 that has been well kept and lived in California it's whole life. It's been recently updated with brand new high back front bucket seats, new rear seat and new seat belts. The interior has been Line-X throughout the entire tub in black. Rest assured not to cover any rust as this Jeep is rust FREE. Also a brand new black BesTop with full doors. Other new items include an aluminum radiator, alternator, water pump and battery. A new sound bar with a JVC deck (though I am having trouble with the wiring currently no sound) and new shifter knobs. This Jeep has recently been repainted in yellow. It came from the factory in tan but the previous owner preferred yellow. Looks pretty cool. Again not to cover any rust as this Jeep is rust FREE. Not a bad paint job but not ready for the concours in Monterey either. Some diamond plate was added to compliment the chrome modular wheels. BFG 325/60R15 All-Terrains have good tread but are not new but provide a nice ride. Look out front and it's got a big Warn winch (I don't have the remote control). It's also got a full cage roll bar. The Jeep runs great. Its got manual steering but steers pretty easy. Super fun to drive and cruises the freeway at 65 mph easily. There is a bit of a whine when in gears 1-3 but super quiet in 4th. Been this way since we got but drives fine and it hasn't been an issue. The volt gauge needle is broken but the rest of the gauges work. All lights, high and low beam, turn signals etc work as well as the high beam indicator in the speedo. The 4 wheel drive shift very smooth into 4 high and 4 low and works great, the 4 wheel drive indicator still works too! Overall a great Jeep that runs, drives and brakes very well. Has been a lot of fun cruising around the coast and always a thumbs up from people down by the beach. The Jeep comes with a clean title, 2 keys, and the original blue California plates. I only have photos with the top on as we finally had some rain here in SoCal but she looks way better with the top off. What else can I tell you?
