Selling my 1984 Toyota Pickup, 4wd, extended cab with 22R motor, 5-speed manual. It only has 125k miles. This truck is NOT in perfect condition and it has some small areas of rust. With that being said, it is in great condition for its age- what I believe to be far above average. I looked for an '84 for a long time and jumped on this one when I found it. I bought to use on the weekends- go to the coffee shop, etc. and putt around town. I had hopes to restore it slowly, but we have a house project right now that has spiraled out of control, so we need some extra funds . The previous owner had it for about 20 years and had purchased it from a dealership. so its history before that is more or less unknown. That owner kept it garaged, took good care of it and always cleaned the dirt and grime out of the sills behind the body panels, which probably has helped reserve the body quite a bit above average. It always starts easily, even on sub-zero mornings. It has good power, good compression and never burns oil. 4wd works great, it handles great- much better than the later models in my opinion- much less body roll compared to the IFS. It leaks a little oil as most of them do. It could probably use some new disc rotors as they seem a little warped, but it never bothered me. There is a dent in the back right corner, the rest of the body is quite strait and without dings. Anything that has needed to be replaced or fixed has been taken care of, which hasn't been much as it has just been a weekend truck for my wife and I to cruise around in. It has the original spare, jack, tool kit and owner's manual. Interior is in good shape, seats have always been covered and there are no cracks on the dash. I tried to describe it as best as I can here with pictures, but let me know if you have any questions. I don't want any surprises for the bidder or myself.
