1969 dodge w200 power wagon, camper special. Big block 383, with a 4 speed, 42,000 miles on odo (assume it has rolled over once). Dual exhaust, 4 barrel, power brakes, manual steering, 4X4. This old truck runs and drives pretty well, has plenty of power and has a nice old school sound through dual turbo mufflers. Clutch is good and trans shifts well, although, sometimes it is necessary to double clutch to go back into second at low speeds, I usually just shift it into 3rd before putting it in second from a stop. Brakes work well, but can be a little grabby if the truck hasn't been driven in a few days. Truck just had a new windshield and seal installed, 5 new tires (spare included), carb and timing dialed in. Interior is clean with non original high back bench seat and black carpets. All lights, and gauges function properly.Body is fairly straight and mostly rust free, only bad rust is the passenger side rocker panel as shown in picture, there are available reproductions of this sheet metal. Truck is missing both saddle tanks, just has the 20 gallon in the cab. Few areas that need attention; e-brake inoperative, havent looked into it, maybe just need cable adjusted, radio not making sound, but turns on, missing tailgate hinges, starter doesnt always engage flywheel on the first crank, figure someone didnt put the starter shim in at some point, and i disconnected the speedo as it was making a really bad squeaking sound, buts its still there. Overall this truck is a solid driver that needs only minor cosmetic and mechanical tweaking, its a good ol' dodge! Reserve is low!
