Hello. You are bidding on a 1966 FORD THUNDER BIRD 2 DOOR SEDAN Q CODE 428 CID NO RESERVE AUCTION. The power plant consists of a V-8 engine, 428cid coupled to an Automatic Transmission. The engine fires right up on the first try. The transmission shifts fine through all of the gears. All of the Air conditiioning components are present and the air blows but not cold may just need a recharge. There are no fluids leaking from either the engine or transmission. The exterior finish as can be seen on the photos will need work(please see photos). All of the external lenses, chrome moldings and glass surfaces are present without any cracks, pits or broken pieces. The lighting and electrical systems are in proper working order. The front windshield shows a crack and will need replacement. The drivers seating surface shows rips as well as the door panels(see photos) The odometer currently reads 84,769 miles but due to the age of the vehicle Rpm Lenders is unable to verify the reading as actual or correct. All four tires have about 40% of thread life remaining. All of the undercarriage shows no signs of rust. This 1966 THUNDERBIRD would provide its new owner with a piece of motoring history.
