Here we have a superb opportunity to purchase a genuine Defender 110 County Station Wagon that was first registered on 1st May 2000, making it just over 25 years old. The papers show it as having 2 registered keepers, the last being a security company in the UK. This is very much a project! It needs a new chassis (frame) and we are happy to fit one prior to the sale of the vehicle. We are listing it as it stands but can happily quote for any works you would like done. We strongly advise you to let us fit a new galvanised frame prior to purchase but if you fancy this job yourself we can guide you through the process. It is, after all, what we do everyday! The V8 engine was rebuilt a few years ago by JE Engineering in the UK. They completely rebuild the engines and are V8 specialists. You can’t get a better engine rebuild. The valve covers are printed with their name on them so you have complete reassurance. It drives really nicely and has loads of power. Now this engine also has had an lpg conversion done on it. It runs beautifully on LPG and petrol but we are more than happy to remove the lpg system if this not something you want. It is a very cheap fuel in the Uk and was a popular conversion but personally I prefer them running on petrol but that’s up to you. We are currently using it on the lpg system. We have made up a complete spreadsheet on every part of the vehicle that would want attention and can send this on to you. However you wish to approach this project there are huge savings to make over buying from a dealer that has restored this. Get involved early with us and make the decisions about interiors etc or buy as it is being sold and you have a great spring and summer project to get your teeth into.
