For sale here is a very nice 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible. This cool '62 Ford convertible has the XL option which has bucket seats, console with floor shift, and deluxe interior accents. This one has a 352 V-8 and automatic transmission. The car starts right up, and runs and drives nicely. The engine sounds great and strong with good power. The power brakes work well and the car rides smoothly on the great looking wide whites. The hubcaps are originals and are very nice. The power top works as it should and the top itself is in great shape. Body-wise, this classy and low '62 Galaxie is very good. The paint shines up well and is the original color code V which denotes "chestnut". The interior color code is also correct for the code 89-chestnut. The interior is in great shape. The seats are very nice and sit comfortably. The door panels are nice. The dash is good and the gauges are clear. The interior is very original. The bumpers are solid and presentable. The trim is nice and I do have the passenger's side GALAXIE 500XL trim piece. As you can see in the photos, the underside is very solid. Another great positive is that everything on this classic works. The top, gauges, turn signals, heat/defrost, radio, wipers, door reflector lights, etc. all work. This cool cruiser is ready to go touring around town and get those "looks", "points", "waves", and comments. Please feel free to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available.
