Vehicle Detail
Hello, up for auction is my 2003 Honda CBR. It was completely rebuilt and modified immediately prior to my purchase 3 years ago. All work was done by the previous owner and unfortunately I do not have papaerwork for the work done, aside from the Lojack registration. The bike has a completely rebuilt, bored nickel coated and honed motor. Ported and polished head, Power commander, custom hidden exhaust, and a lojack system. The headlight assembly is a one of hand laid fiberglass hid enclosure, TAG bars, Rizoma grips, House of Kolor paint, Corbin seat, a lot of the parts are powder coated (triple tree, clutch cover, stator cover, etc). Have the solo cowl and passage seat/pegs. Also has a superintendent x2 sprocket, DID chain, wave rear rotor, ebc brake pads, and a brand new battery. I have put roughly 12k miles on the bike, which is the mileage since all work and rebuilding was done. The odometer has not been reset and represents the mileage of the factory bike since it's manufacture. I am the sole owner and rider, the bike has a clean and clear title. Has always had Honda synthetic blend oil used (previous owner informed me that full synthetic can cause clutch to slip), which was changed every 1000 miles. Aside from oil, only changes I have made is a new wave rear rotor, ebc pads, I built the cage and installed it for protection only, this is not a stunt or trick bike of any sort, new chain and sprockets, and all balls front and rear bearings. The bike runs excellent, and has never given me any problems aside from a dead battery in spring. The tires should be replaced, they are flat from highway riding, which is what nearly all the miles are from. The tachometer also recently started going in and out, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, it is new and I have not had a chance to inspect it yet, I am sure it is just a connection issue somewhere. Also, to make the listing as true to my knowledge as possible, one of the front fork tube has become damp on the bottom on occasion, they do not leak or leave drips, but I have never had them looked at or repaired, I am assuming one of the seals weeps, but would like to mention it. I bought the bike for 7500 a few years ago, it has been nothing but good to me, but I am looking to have kids soon, and where I live is just to dangerous for me to ride knowing I may have children soon. I have sold many items, including other vehicles on ebay before, I have perfect feedback and am as honest as can be. I will be posting more pictures this week, if there are any questions whatsoever please ask. PayPal is my preference payment method, as well as a certified bank check. I will not accept cash, as I do not feel comfortable meeting a stranger with a large cash transaction.
