Looks like it was a light left side swipe type of a damage mainly to the left fender/door area. All airbags are good. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Overall in good condition indicates that it was a well maintained vehicle. Has good looking leather and tires. Looks like it was a light left side swipe type of a damage mainly to the left fender/door area. All airbags are good. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Overall in good condition indicates that it was a well maintained vehicle. Has good looking leather and tires.
The great news is that the car starts, engine runs good, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
