-I still use this car daily and had planned to take it into Mexico when I retire there, this month. However I just learned that since it was made in Japan, Mexico will not permit its importation. If it wasn't for this, I would not be selling this car. -Car has never been bumped or scratched badly enough to merit bodywork or paint touch-up, so it is solid and free from rattles. It has the usual dings from other car’s doors, and a mark just above and below the rear licence plate where I got careless. -Original cloth seats were too difficult to keep as clean as desired, and so were replaced with Toyota leather seats [installed by a Toyota dealer at an additional cost of $1,300]. -Everything works: Power windows, seats, mirrors, moonroof, stereo, CD etc. -Toyota tonneau cover and cargo net. All manuals.-Routine maintenance always done by Toyota dealers. Next service due at 99,000 miles.-Photos show car without the floor mats that have protected the carpets over the years. Floor mats included [Photo #11] On Jan-06-16 at 12:26:02 PST, seller added the following information: Corrections: 1) The transmission is "4 speed ECT Auto Trans/Elect On-Demand" [whatever that means] - not 5 speed as I had noted.2) Toyota classifies this car as "5 doors," not 4 as I had noted.3) There was confusion regarding when the next service is due: I had stated 99,000. The correct number is 96,000. I expect the Toyota dealer in Mexico who noted that the next service was due at "99,000" read the odometer at the time of service, [91,000 miles] and added 8,000 [Km] to get 99,000. Correcting for this error [8,000 Km is about 5,000 miles] we get the 96,000 which I believe is correct. Additions:This model has had 3 factory recalls for safety issues. They have all been done by authorized Toyota dealers.
