For Sale, 1 - 2005 Ford F250 4X4 Crew Cab Pickup. Our company purchased this truck new and it has been my daily driver since. The 6.0 liter engines are problematic and this one had its share. I never spent one penny on the truck through the first 100,000 miles. Shortly thereafter, it went down with all of the problems that you hear about. Rough running, limp mode, poor starting when warm, etc. I took it to one of the local Ford gurus and he repaired the engine and it ran well until about 230,000 miles. It has not had an EGR delete. Around that time, I had trouble with the truck going into limp mode again and decided that day to buy a new one, which I did. The truck sat around for a few days and my son started driving it around our gravel pit as a work truck. The frequency of the limp mode episodes increased until one day the starter went out. We replaced the starter and with one exception have had no trouble since. The one time it happened, we restarted the truck and it was fine. The truck now runs fine and starts great and has since the installation of the starter and two new batteries. I do not know if it is the nature of the beast or just this truck, but it likes a new set of batteries every year or so. The truck is in fair condition body wise. We put a replacement 2010 bed on it a few years ago. There is significant rust on the back, rear, lower corners of the cab. I have included a picture. Both sides are about the same. There is also some rusting on the lower front fenderwells next to the cab as well but not as bad. The interior is black leather and both front seats need recovered. The driver's seat has been recovered twice since new. The back seat is a 60/40 split that folds up and forms a steel cargo platform beneath The floor was replaced with a vinyl mat when the truck was new and it is in pretty good shape. The CD player does not work, nor does the backup sensor. All of the other power components work fine. This truck has a deep center console with a clipboard built in to the lid. It is the handiest thing ever. It also has a built-in trailer brake system. The tires are probably 40-50% and the truck has been serviced regularly.
