This is an all original 49 Merc. Suicide doors, everything is factory including the flathead V-8. Column shift and all original interior. Absolutely rust free. Been garage kept for over 55 years. The motor smokes a little, however we are talking about an old car. The column shift was notorious for hanging up at times and needs adjusting. The original owner said the car has the original paint, I see signs of overspray, I cannot answer that correctly. I have owned the car for at least 5 years. Too many projects going on. Wanted to chop it and bag the suspension, too nice of a car to do that to. This would be a great car for a Merc enthusiast. Took this to car show 2 months ago and ran great. Will sell as is. Glass is in good shape however from old age of course it has a few delaminated areas.
