Vehicle Detail
1972 Buick Riviera This is a rare hard to find car. A classic, that everyone will turn their heads to see as you drive by. It runs and drives great with a '74 455 in it. I have put it back together from being in pieces, plus has a lot of new parts. I have flushed the radiator and put new antifreeze in it. I have new carpet ready to install, paid $150. Door window seals are ready to install, paid $80. Oil change with fresh full synthetic oil was just done so you will be good to go on that for up to 10,000 miles. I have sanded, primered, and glossed the car. It is not the best but will get you by for now, it was to protect it from weather as could not afford a paint job at the moment. It does have a dent in the door from backing it up next to our camper, hard to tell from pictures. I am including the original 455 engine with this, however, I was told one of the cylinders is out. It is on an engine stand, however, you will need engine hoist to take it away because it is extremely heavy. This is what it currently needs.... new tires, they are all 4 dry rotting really bad. you will need someone who can install door poppers as this car has shaved door handles, but the trunk has a button that will open it under the car. someone attempted to install poppers previously and were not successful as we still couldn't get it to work. We are currently using a hanger and leaning in through the quarter back window to get into the car. Also there is a makeshift handle underneath the front driver tire but the cable needs to be tightened so that it works as we got it to work previously. It looks like the wires that went to the popper didn't work so didn't mess with. It appears this car needs electrical work due to door poppers. We do not know anything about electrical so did not want to attempt or go any further, and as my son no longer has the funds to put in this car further has decided to sell. Thanks for looking, feel free to ask questions. On Dec-21-15 at 14:31:00 PST, seller added the following information: Correction...$80 window seals was a mistake in the details. These are not coming with the car as they never came in the mail like we thought they did. Sorry for the confusion.
