up for sale is a custom bug PROJECT. the engine does run and sounds good, but the carb could use a rebuild or tuning. the front suspension has been stretched but needs modification to the steering column so the steering gear can be put on properly and regain proper steering geometry. the car is drivable to get onto a trailer, but not safe for the street at this time. there is an intermittent issue with the ignition switch that makes it not crank sometimes, previous owner rigged up a wire to touch to the battery to crank when this happens, that's why the back seat is not in properly. NO THIS IS NOT A SUPER BEETLE. it comes with a couple new ball joints (po says they are high angle ball joints??). it comes with new in the box hot rod type headlight buckets. the car does not come with any fenders. the pan is solid.
