For sale is my 1990 BMW 325i. This has been my daily driver for almost 4 years and it really has been a great car to drive. Over the past 4 years, I have had many parts replaced and rebuilt that will ensure the BMW is on the road for another 25 years! Since owning the car, I have had the cylinder head replaced with an OEM 885 model as well as all the accompanying bolts, replaced the entire cooling system with a new radiator, water pump and all new hoses, rebuilt the brake system with a new brake booster, master brake cylinder, new brake lines and calipers, replaced the control arms as well as the bushings and control arms and of course replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires. The BMW also received 4 new tires about a year ago. A majority of the work was performed at BPC Motorworks on Hilton Head Island. I have receipts for the work done. The car is a joy to drive. Starts right up every time and has great acceleration. As for the condition of the car, I would give it a 7 out of 10 for being 25 years old. The paint is original to the car and shows it age in some spots such as the on the trunk and hood. The interior is in great shape except for a rip in the driver’s seat and the ripped dash. I added a dash cover that is screwed in-place and it looks very nice. All the lights work and I replaced the on-board computer with an OEM one and it works as it should. I also added an arm rest for comfort. There is an after-market radio with CD and speakers installed. With the car being 25 years old, there are some problems, none of which affect the drivability of the car. I will do my best to describe each issue: The odometer and speedo do not work properly. The speedo comes on after driving the car for 20 minutes or so. The sunroof does not open. All the parts are there but the lines need to be connected. The A/C worked fine up until 6 months ago. Looks like the A/C condenser and fan stopped working and I bought a working one to put in. I have not put it in and will include it in the sale. The car is 99% rust-free except for some rust bubbles around the sunroof…as shown in the pictures. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or special requests for images of the car.
