This is a very nice heavy duty pickup without the typical body rust. There is a little surface rust on the frame poking through the under coat in places, and the mounts for the running boards. The V-10 engine runs excellent, the paint and clear coat is nice except for one small spot on the hood as in the picture. Excellent interior with no rips or tears except for 2 cracks in the plastic dash on the passenger side, typical for these models. Has weather style front floor mats.The trans had been rebuilt at 197,000 by Cottman transmission. by the former owner. After I bought it, I had a modified valve body installed for towing which tightened up the shifts. The down side to that is under when you accelerate briskly, it will shift hard. The good part is there is no slippage in the clutches to wear out. I just feather the throttle a little bit when it is ready to shift and it goes in smoothly. I use only synthetic fluid in the trans and in the engine. The truck is a second vehicle for me, so I only use it once a week to take my trash the the recycling center or when I use my boat. Boat ramps are steep and slippery, hence the need for 4 wheel drive. I has a nice matching Leer cap and full bedliner, along with full DeeZee running boards and mud flaps. There is no broken or cracked glass.It has power windows and door locks. I also have new headlight assembly's that I never installed to go with it. The originals are cloudy. The tires are almost new E rated tires and the front brakes and calipers were just replaced over the summer. I have owned the truck around 7 years and it has always been great and not let me down. I have always kept it inside as the original owner did, and I have never driven it in the snow and salt let alone rain. That is why there is no rust. It has a factory class IV receiver hitch with 7 blade light plug. I just spent $800 on a new fuel pump module and replaced the antilock sensor. The engine has platinum plugs good for 100,000 miles. I have always cared for and serviced the truck as I do all my vehicles, but it is not perfect and it has a few problems. When I bought it the A/C worked, now it doesn't. I don't know whats wrong with it, but it will blow the fuse for the clutch when you turn it to A/C, so it might have a bad clutch, I don't know. The driver's front door speaker works sometimes , but the rear works. Could be a bad connection or bad speaker. The trans will hesitate shifting from 1st gear to 2nd only the first time you take off, but works as it should all the rest of the time until you turn it off and start again. It doesn't matter what the temp is. It has never bothered me, but since the trans is totally electric controlled by the computer I figured there was not something mechanical with it. I took it to Cottman a couple of years ago while it was still in warranty and they hooked it to their diagnostic computer and could find nothing wrong with it. Since I was used to it I didn't worry about it and it hasn't caused me any problems. The truck has a current Maryland emissions inspection good until July 2017. The truck is sold AS/IS where is. This is a very nice truck for the money and has alot of use left in it. The only reason for selling is I went Diesel. If this truck was Diesel, it would be double the price nor would I be selling it!
