THIS IS A TRUE BARN FIND, WITH VIDEO AND DOCUMENTATION. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED IN 1970 AND THAN PARKED IN A BARN HERE IN MAINE IN 1979. IT SAT UNTIL I PURCHASED IT 2 WEEKS AGO. THIS CAR WAS REPAINTED SOMETIME IN THE 70'S, OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL. I SPENT THE LAST FEW WEEKS CHANGING FLUIDS, PLUGS,STARTER, GOING THROUGH IT AND GETTING IT RUNNING,DRIVING, EVEN THE POWER TOP WORKS. THE ENGINE DOES NOT KNOCK OR SMOKE, NO MAJOR LEAKS, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH, HOWEVER THIS CAR IS NOT ROAD READY, IT SHOULD STILL BE GONE THROUGH COMPLETELY IT WAS IN STORAGE FOR 37 YEARS, BUT ITS A SOLID EXTREMELY RARE CAR AND READY FOR RESTORATION. YOU DO NO FIND THEM LIKE THIS ANYMORE. THE CAR HAS HAS SOME PATCHES ON THE DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR, AND NEEDS SOME WORK ON THE DRIVERS DOOR HINGE, YOU NEED TO PICK IT UP TO CLOSE IT AND OPEN IT.
