1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible I ran this on e-bay two years ago and turned down a $5,000 offer. I have driven it two more summers and put it away each winter. I have many collector vehicles and just don't love this as much as I used to. I took a rusted out convertible and a rust free reg cab Dakota and made one out of the two. I spent $3,400 on the paint and body work. Runs and drives great, everything but the A/C works, it holds freon and the compressor when hot wired works, so the problem is in the dash switch. I always drove it with the top down so it didn't bother me. I mildly customized it and can reverse the few modifications if the high bidder wants. The rims are 17 inch and the tires are fair. Truck doesn't need anything and can be driven anywhere. I drove it to Florida and back from Kentucky last year. I put a later model Chrysler factory radio in it that is an am/fm cassette/CD. The rear suspension has a two inch lowering block on it, easily reversed. the R/T stripes are from a new Challenger and are easily removed. The optional factory aluminum wheels have tires with great tread and have the factory center caps. High bidder can have the 17 inch wheels or the factory Dakota wheels but not both sets. I've owned it for five years. V/6, automatic, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, two wheel drive. 124,377 miles, title reads not actual and is branded rebuilt vehicle because I used two to make one and the state of Ky made me title it this way but the drive train really has that mileage on it. Convertible top is Hartz cloth and is five years old. Call me with any questions on concerns.
