Very beautiful car. I bought it a year ago intending to restore it, but took a new job out of state. I have to sell it. I have seen it once, and moved it into storage at a specialty shop who I was going to use. They have been great,but I have to get it out of here. The pix and the following description are from the auction I bought it from, I have not had it inspected or worked on since I moved it. At the time it started up fine, but needed some work to use as a driver! Here is the original owner's description, edited for confidentiality: -------------------------------------------------------------------------"Very nice 1973 Volvo P1800ES.Owned for 21 years.So many things have been done thru the years,Rebuilt engine,transmission,stainless steel exhaust,new fuel injectors,new brakes,paint job etc.This car is no rust bucket! as pictures will show Rust areas that are typical on these models will not be a concern for you.Very drivable car.There are some things the new owner will want to address such as having radiator cleaned (tends to run hot recently) and a loose left outer tie rod end.Have most of the pieces as pictures show for installing air conditioning if you desire and a new dash pad kit.There is a small dent above left headlight as pictured,have trim ring for this.Have accumulated many extra parts that will go with car like gauges,vent windows,headlight trim ring,new brake rotors etc."------------------------------------------------- Sorry, that is all I can say about it. It is a moving sculpture, a piece of art. I really wanted to get it going, but the career got in the way. This will be someone else's gain! Because of my job situation (I am over half time out of state) the buyer will have to use UShip, or come get it in Lexington KY. I can arrange for inspections at the shop. Sale is as is/where is. We will have to coordinate visits/pickup with my return schedule sorry, but I can be very flexible. Write with questions! Somehow a lot of pix were added that I did not post, but at least they are my car from when I purchased it. And the listing now says Australia, but this is in ky and buyer has to pick up. Also some #€£* is trying to cancel a bid, never had the courtesy to contact me. I am working with eBay now to figure it out. Any advice is appreciated. The car is real the sale is real.
