This is a project of my father-in-law. Because of serious health condition it cannot be finished. I will try to give you my most accurate description of this car but only of what he has told me through the last 20 years. He purchased in the 60's, drove until 1972, put in his car garage in 1978, pulled apart and went to a reputable body shop and painted in 1981. It has never been outside of that garage since until now. Lots of parts are new. The body has some damage to the left rocker, rear quarter, and some rust on "hood" as seen in pics. It appears to be relatively straight and solid as does the floors and underbody The windshield is cracked but the frame appears ok. The paint has never been waxed but still shows well. The 80hp (claimed by him) engine and trans are not original but engine was completely rebuilt within last 10 years and is oiled frequently and turned over by hand. It has never been started. The original 40hp engine and trans comes with the car and turn freely by hand also. There are no seats, top, or interior parts that I know of and what you see in pics is what you get- no less than but maybe more if anything turns up. I do not know any of the specifics of the car but will try to answer to the best of my knowledge. The engine and trans goes but not the dolly it is on. The bumpers in the last pic have rust and dings. The trim pieces that fit around top of interior have scratches. There are a pair of carbs and air breathers and many other miscellaneous parts. The hood is not bolted on. The emergency brake cable linkage is not hooked up but is hanging there. I do not see any rust under the vehicle except the inside of transmission tunnel has heavy surface rust but solid.The engine VIN tag is missing. The mileage on the odometer shows 44,247 miles and believed to be correct but cannot verify. Tires have no no miles on them. The title is clear but signed by his wife and comes a notarized copy of Power of Attorney to make it legit.
