The Pinto has always been here in Tennessee within 70 miles from my family. We purchased her because in '81 I owned an identical Pinto and always enjoyed her. She is fun & reliable and folks always have stories to tell me about their Pinto of the past. I have the original Bill of Sale from Bob Boles Ford which the vehicle cost $4761 new back in '79 ! Original window sticker showing all options such as automatic transmission, roof rack, rear defroster, "flipper" quarter windows & more. Original Owners Manual. I also have the Original Dealers Front Plate "Morristown, TN". In my possession also the first registration dated 08/02/79. All this goes with the car. She is equipped with the faithful 2300 cc. motor which will outlast my lifetime ! Ready for any Show ! Since in my possession, over the years I have done the following upgrades though keeping the car as stock as possible. New Paint (OEM color), New Upholstery, New Carpet, New Door Panels, New vinyl in rear, new Air Conditioning (under dash mount) with compressor and accessories professionally installed, radiator with electric fan, transmission cooler, new battery 10/15 with 5 year Warranty, Grant steering wheel, SunPro gauge package, Kenwood am/fm cd receiver with 4 speakers. Upgraded from 13" stock wheels to 14's with 195's in the rear and 185's up front. Very slight rake. When doing 45 she will read 40, so keep that in mind. We have enjoyed her at cruise-ins and car shows over the years with the grandkids. But times have changed and now time to move on. You won't be disappointed. A classic in her own right.
