This is the 1983 CB1000C, this is the last model with the 5 speed trans. with a 2 speed transfer case giving you 10 speeds. The bike rides and handles very good for a 33 year old bike. My reason for selling it is I lost my best friend and riding partner a couple of years ago. I am also nearing the 70 year mark in my life and my wife is worried about my riding. The bike is a survivor and looks very good, still has the original 4 into 2 exhaust. It does show some age but could be restored with very little work. When this bike first came out in 1982 as a CB900C I wanted one in the worst way but was forced to wait for another 20 some years. I bought it from a gentlemen in Kentucky, he was selling it for the same reason as I am, damn were getting old. I would love to see it go to a new loving garage and rider. The air shocks do need to be rebuilt and if you are going to ride it hard the clutch may need replaced, the gauges all work and look great. I will send an engine guard that I never put on with foot pegs. Also just replaced the battery.
