Here I offer to you another vehicle from a large community in North East PA. This 1998 Dodge Durango was used by the Public Safety Department for their routine patrols of the community. The community regularly cycles out vehicles once they hit a certain mileage or age. According to the title they purchased it in 2009 when it had 115,000 so that means in the last 6yrs they only put 12,000 miles on the vehicle. Inspection just ran out in May of this year. The maintenance department told me they had recently replaced the brakes, brake lines and put in a battery. I know nothing about the vehicle other than what they told me. I drove it home. It starts, stops, the 4wd engages and seems to work ok. The air is cold and the heat hot. The body looks straight and solid. As you can see in the photos it looks good. But as I said I really do not know anything about it but what I see. That being said it may have a squeak, rattle, shimmy ,shake and who knows what. It is a used vehicle. The radio is missing. I asked them what happened to it and was told the guys kept playing it to loud while they worked and were told if it didn't stop the radio would be taken out. I asked for it back and was told if they find it, they would give it to me and then I to you. The interior is ok, but by the sun visors the fabric is drooping. The only other thing I see it the surface rust starting on the bottom of the rear hatch which you can see in the photo. Being that this used vehicle has over 100,000 miles and I know nothing about it really what I am going to do is just sell the body. I am only selling the body, I am giving you the drivetrain as a gift. The body is straight, solid and good. As I said earlier it starts and stops and does everything it seems it should, but I am only selling the body, the rest is yours for free.
