Vehicle Detail

1998 Ford Club E350 5.8L V8 FI 15 Passenger Van for sale. Vehicle purchased from NJ State Auction in October 2014. I purchased the van to relocate and it has been sitting since then. I changed the oil once and it probably could use a good tune up. But, the engine runs strong and transmission shifts without issue. Suspension, exhaust, lighting, brakes and steering are good, with no issues. No oil leaks. The tires look good and probably have more than 85% life left on them. The included spare is a new full size tire. The van has two OEM chairs (driver/front passenger) and another non-OEM, removable chair in the cabin area. The seat part of the driver's chair is ripped and worn; but the chair is usable. The exterior is fair with no significant damage. However, there are minor scuffs, dings, dents and paint chipping. The roof looks as if it was walked on. See Pictures. All doors lock, but one of the two locking mechanisms on the rear door gate lock works. The other lock is hanging within the door and can be easily repaired. Air condition blows cold and heat works; but, fan only works at top speed. The other problems with the van include: (1) Two rust holes in the rear cabin floor by the wheel wells- one on each side. The rust affects two small sections of the sheet metal flooring, not the frame. Apparently, this is a common problem with this van and it can be repaired by cutting out the rust section and replacing with new sheet metal. However, I have also been advised that it is not a big deal, especially if treated and floor covered. (2) Loose Gear Shifter. The gear shifter is loose and slightly off track. The shifter does not go completely into park and, therefore, it must start in neutral. Since it does not go to park, I have been using the emergency brake to stop the van from rolling. To start, the shifter needs to be in the same place on Neutral. This problem does not effect the transmission and all gears work properly. Again, this is a common problem with Fords and it is a simple repair. I really did not have a problem with it and it passed inspection. The following two videos better explain the issue and explain how to self- repair: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFa5maYbW8I and www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2wGthYupukBe advised that the Vehicle History Report indicates that the van was in 2 minor accidents during its lifetime. However, other than small dents and scratches, the van seemed to be impervious. As stated, the van was previously owned by the State and its drivers were probably required to make a report of any damaged they caused. I purchased the van at a significant discount and I am passing this good fortune on via Ebay. Vehicle sold "AS IS" with no expressed warranty.Located Willingboro, NJ 08046 - Exit 6 NJ Turnpike.
