I bought this car based on the fact that is was a running, driving bugeye for relatively short money. It is a great looking car, starts right up, drives fine. I'm not a sprite guy, so I think this is a 1275cc, but there is no engine tag. It has a downdraft weber and header, telescopic tube shocks on all four corners, disc brakes and brand new minilite wheels. I was going to fix it up and sell it on, but I found a really nice MGA racer that I want to put my money into. This has a FACTORY hardtop and side screens (hardtops are around $1200 alone these days), side screens are usually around $300-400 for the original factory weather shields. This car needs finishing. It needs the following: Floors, new shocks, bonnet hold down clamps, needs the headlight switch hooked up.Great little car, just needs the right person to take it to the next level. Front hood is fiberglass, rear body tub is fiberglass (this is a real bugeye, not a midget). The rocker panels are steel with a fiberglass cover. Doors are steel. Interior is restored and nice, just needs to be tidied up. You won't find a nice bugeye for entry level price like this.
