This is a GOOD, SOLID 1970 Ford Maverick with a little rust! The front lip of the hood has a little rust underneath and there is a little spot under the hood by the fender on the driver's side. It looks GREAT with the HOT ROD black paint and FLAMES! But, it is not perfect! The car should have been sanded better before it was painted but, it still looks GREAT! The windshield does have a crack on the passenger side and it is missing one piece of the trim around the windshield on the passenger side.It runs and drives pretty good! As far as I know, the engine and transmission are original to the car. The engine runs good but, I do think the carburetor might need to be rebuilt! The transmission shifts great! It DOES NOT have power steering or power brakes! The brakes work but, they are manual! It steers good but, it is also manual steering! The radiator, gas tank and exhaust are fairly new! The gas tank is an original looking tank but, has been turned sideways in the trunk and the gas filler tube has been moved inside the trunk. The exhaust has been replaced, front to back and sounds GREAT! The tires are good. Everything works, except for the turn signals and the horn.The interior has the original seats, door panels and rear seat panels, etc. The seats have been recovered at some point but, the front seat has come apart at the seams in the middle of the seat but, I think that they can be stitched back together. The carpet is fairly new! The dash cap has been recovered. The car does need a headliner! It does have an aftermarket stereo in it. The steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket one, also! THE MILEAGE COULD GO UP A LITTLE BIT, BECAUSE THE MAVERICK COULD BE DRIVEN SOME BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. ALSO, I ASSUME THAT THE ODOMETER HAS ROLLED OVER! OVERALL, THIS A GREAT MAVERICK, THAT LOOKS GOOD AND COULD BE DRIVEN AS-IS OR WOULD BE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR A V-8 SWAP OR WHATEVER ELSE SOMEONE MIGHT WANT TO DO, BECAUSE IT IS A SOLID CAR!
