1947 for rat rod pickup, This is a very cool and unique pickup, it has been customized as a rat rod i.e. ( parts taken from various other vehicles) it is by no means perfect and there are some things that the new owner would like to change or do differently, but that is what make this type of vehicle very cool and unique, is the ability to be creative and make it your own. I will list those things that some would consider to be a con, and then i will list the pro's. The rear fenders (which i love) were taken i believe from 50s model chevy, they are wide and give it a good look but were cut and welded in the middle, they would need a little work to straighten those out, the bed rails are not the straightest, the cab corners have been repaired with patches ( can still see the welds) the front windshield has several cracks. Here are the pro's in my opinion, rust free solid body, frame and suspension is from a for ranger, A/C works and blows cold, radio works well, air bags operate as they should, tires and rims are decent, brakes work well, the front windshield is flat glass and would be cheap to replace, it is a great canvas for someone to build on or enjoy it as it is. It definitely is an attention getter and people love this truck, young, old, male, female, they all compliment it which is pretty cool. I purchased this truck basically as you see it. i did however add a new custom steering column from idit, otherwise it is as i purchased it. I intended on doing some different things such as correcting the fenders and some of the patched areas, stripping the paint and doing a patina type paint job, doing something different on the interior, possibly a nice paint job, carpeting and different seats.
