1965 HONDA 250 SCRAMBLER CL72 RESTORED & READY TO RIDE! CLEAN BIKE WITH A LOW RESERVE PRICE!! Up for your consideration is an excellent example of a 1963 Honda CL72 Scrambler. The bike starts right up on the first kick, idles smoothly, has excellent throttle response, runs strong and rides well through all four gears. A restoration was performed about 10 years ago while maintaining some visible character from age. The gas tank has been professionally cleaned and epoxy coated inside. The tank badges are high quality reproductions made specifically for the 250 scrambler. The original rubber knee pads are in good condition. The headlight bucket mounted speedometer and sealed beam unit are in excellent original working condition. The handlebars, forks, controls, switches, steering stabilizer and levers are in excellent unrestored condition, they all look good and work properly. The exhaust system is very clean and the chrome shines well. The seat has been restored with a quality reproduction cover. The stock air filters and rubber boots are in good working condition. The clutch works properly without noticeable slippage. The front and rear brakes work fine. The headlights, taillights, gauge lights, kick starter and charging system work properly. The wiring harness is in good condition. The grey cable housings are in good condition and work properly. The original deep grooved DID 19" rims are true and shine well. The tires hold air and show little wear but are weather checked and should be replaced.
