1987 Buick Regal Grand National. Actual WE2 Grand National with T-tops. Link to more pics: Pictures Car is a daily driveable project. It's rough around the edges but appears to be mostly original. Looks to have had 1 repaint at some point. Bumper fillers are not originals, they are fiberglass and in good condition. Paint is showing it's age, please view the pictures carefully. Driver's side rear spoiler extension is cracked. The headlight bezels have been painted but really need to be replaced. Windshield has crack in bottom of drivers side near vin plate. Needs new door, t-top and trunk seals. They are old and brittle. Only rust I can find is 1 small spot in the passenger front pan and another in the passenger rear pan. Probably the size of a quarter. Also the trunk lid has a couple of tiny bubbles on the bottom lip above the tail lights. Bumpers are straight, doors, fenders, and quarters are all nice. A couple of dings but no major dents. Interior looks pretty nice for an 87 model car, but needs work. Needs headliner. Carpet is pretty nice. Seats look ok and work fine for a driver, but they have been repaired with a few patches over the years. Gauges all work except for the tach, that stays pegged in the red. Drivetrain is solid. Fun to drive, engine runs great. Trans is the 200R4 auto and feels to have a shift kit, barks 2nd gear easily. The whole engine bay could use a good cleaning and detailing. The valve cover gaskets leak and it looks as maybe the oil pan could use a new gasket also. Leaves a couple of drops overnight. Has new exhaust from the Catalytic converter all the way to the back of the car. Heat works. A/C works but could probably use some freon, not blowing as cold as it could be. Wheels look nice, but are showing their age up close. Overall this is a pretty much unmolested Grand National. Solid foundation for whichever way you want to take it, whether it be a restoration or modified street car. Thanks for all of the interest. On Nov-10-15 at 13:55:41 PST, seller added the following information: After a few questions about numbers matching I decided to get under the car and find out. The engine does not appear to be original to the car, the vin stamp is different. It is a 109 casting block. I know that this doesn't matter to most but a few purists had asked about it and I didn't want anyone bidding thinking otherwise if it makes a difference to them. The transmission does have the correct vin stamping however. I have added pictures of both to the album link in the original description. The rain has finally stopped for us.
