Vehicle Detail
1967 Mustang Fastback with a blue printed and balanced 289 4barrel engine and auto transmission. This car has the factory air still installed. Plus, all 5 factory rally rims with center caps (but no beauty rings) are included. Also has the fold down rear seat. The chrome trim and emblems all look great. The car was built in Deerborn MI and started its life green in color. The motor is original and was mildly rebuilt in 1984. Since then, it has only been driven about 15,000 miles with a total of only 51,000 on the car. It was last purchased in 1982 and was restored in 1984 inside and out. That's when she became a blue car. The car has been garage kept with a cover on it. She runs great, still has the factory drum brakes and manual steering it came with. All brakes and wheel cylinders have been replaced and work great. The interior is beautiful with no rips, cracks or tears. Dash is awesome, this car is a very nice classic. The owner is now 86 and would love someone else to cherish this car as he has these past 33 years. The pride he has in this car shows in the way he has kept her from being molested and abused. He only changed the color because he did not care for the green. The radio is all Alpine from 1984 when it was redone, so it has cassette player. Over all this car is a really nice barn find without all the mice and rust. The car is started regularly just to hear her run and drive up and down the block, so the car doesn't just sit idle. I am sure whoever gets this car will be very pleased. I will be glad to help a shipper pick up the car. However, it is up to the buyer to secure one. If it were me though, I would fly out and drive her home if at all possible, just for the fun of it. It does have an up to date 2016 Oklahoma tag that has been maintained annually, just driven very little. $1000 due at end of auction balance due within 7 days. Thank and Happy Bidding! On Nov-07-15 at 18:29:25 PST, seller added the following information: There have been a lot of interest and questions about this ol' girl. Let me answer some of them here. Yes she has a clear title with current Oklahoma tag. There is only small areas of surface rust. It appears she was once protected with under coating. The torque boxes are good, the floor pans are good, frame rails and shock towers are all in good condition, doors open and close properly, no sag, door seals all look good, paint is good overall, she is a very solid car. Please refer to the notes for the new photos Thank you for the inquiries and good luck! On Nov-07-15 at 18:39:01 PST, seller added the following information: Ok, so we can't load anymore photos to the ad or change what we have posted. If you want photos of the underside of the car, please email me and I will gladly send them to you. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks again On Nov-09-15 at 08:08:06 PST, seller added the following information: Update: The included 5 wheels are not the original Rally. They are Argent style 21 '68-'69 GT center cap chrome wheels with center caps and all but one beauty ring. They are beautiful. He doesn't know why he didn't have those on the car instead. We apologize for not having this information correct at the start of the listing.
