You are bidding on and outstanding one family owned since new,1976 F100 Ranger short wide bed 4 x 4 truck. The truck is mostly rust free, some minor surface rust. Has most of its original factory paint, one of the nicest surviving samples you may find! The truck has been well maintained by father and adult son since the truck was new, a pretty rare occurrence these days. The truck features a mild 4" lift which puts in the High Boy height, like its F250 big brother, looks tough and drives well for a 40 year old truck! She rides on 33" X 12.5 X 15" LT mud and snow radial tires with 80 percent of tread remaining. A full size spare comes with the truck The body panels are original Ford parts, and while not flawless, the truck is extremely straight as you can see in the various picture angles. The factory original "S" bright blue metallic paint is still in pretty good condition. The stainless and aluminum trim is in very good condition all around, glass is good throughout Mechanically, the truck is amazingly sound. A jasper rebuilt 390 engine powers this girl with less than 31K miles on it. I noticed a few engine leaks so I replaced the intake/timing chain cover and water pump gaskets. The engine is backed by the original 4 speed trans and 4 x 4 transfer case and locking front hubs that all are in all good working condition. The clutch was replaced several thousand miles ago. Power steering and brakes which makes for a surprising easy and smooth driving experience The underside of the truck is a clean as the exterior with no floor/rocker door or troublesome rust issues, very clean with dual exhausts that sound as mean as it looks! The interior has been completely redone from the floor to the ceiling. The interior floor pans has some very minor surface rust that was removed then coated with POR 15 to stop any further surface rust to appear. The interior has been completely repainted with its factory metallic blue color as you can see in the pictures. New carpet/ seat foam and covers and headliners was done as well. New weather stripping was installed around the doors and windows, the wing windows were net done. All the dash components were cleaned and repainted as well, inside looks brand new! This is one great truck, you will be pretty hard pressed to find one nicer for the price. Clear title in had, matches VIN exactly. While every effort is being made to describe the truck as accurately as possible, it is a 40 year old classic and therefore being sold as is.
