A good looking 1981 Toyota 4 cylinder, 5 speed Diesel. It starts easy and runs really good. I have only owned this truck and been in town with it for a few weeks. I bought it from a guy that was a Toyota diesel enthusiast, and said this one was in the best condition that he had seen in a long time. He bought it from an old man that took meticulous care of it and was the sole owner prior to him. The speedometer says 91000 mi, and I was told it is true. There is no play in the steering wheel. I don't know how original everything is, but it is in very good condition. It has a good fresh paint job (there are a few small nicks in the paint on the bed top, (see pics) you have to be close to see them. It doesn't make any weird noises, and gets very good gas mileage. I bought the truck in Houston and drove it to New Orleans at about 65 mph and got close to 40 mpg (Felt like it could go a lot faster, but I was told to keep it around 65). The tires are a bit worn, and there is one split in the dash (see pics). The truck is set up to blow A/C, but there is no belt on the compressor. I was told the system would work if I flushed and charged it, and installed the belt, but I haven't messed with it (heat works). It has nice leather seats and carpet on the floors. I'm 6'4'' and the truck is a little small for me. I knew it when I got home from Houston, but really loved it and wanted to keep it, but it's gotta go. Anyway, I'm listing it for much cheaper than I bought it for, so here is your chance to get a good deal on a really nice truck.
