Here's a Real Blast from the Past. A 1967 Red Ford Fairlane Convertible GT! And the Reserve is priced so that anyone can afford it! This car is equipped with a smooth running 289 V8, automatic C4 transmission, and a 9 inch heavy duty rear end. A great drivetrain that can be kept stock or built up as you desire. All the right components are already there. This cool old ragtop can be restored, restorodded or put to work as a great beach ride! Whatever you do with it you will be the envy of all that see you. The doors, hood and trunk open and close as they should. The paint is amature. However, this car is not ready for prime time highway driving. It needs and deserves a full restoration. It is complete except different leather bucket seats and it is missing the back seat cushions. It has a trunk full of extra side moldings, windshield moldings, door panels, etc.. Unfortunately, this car comes from Connecticut where it was stored in a shed with a dirt floor. This has caused the floor pans to rust badly and they will need to be replaced. Also the right front frame extention under the battery will need welding repair as well as the right torque box. The drivers lower door and rear quarter are also soft and need repair. Please bid only if you are aware that this car needs WELDING REPAIRS. In addition, the State of Connecticut does not have titles for cars over 10 years.
