This has been the best driving and handling car I've ever owned, and any lucky buyer will not be disappointed. This car was originally a Hugger Orange/Black Vinyl Top car, which is arguably the best color on a 69 Z. Very rare factory options on this car that were NOT added later to add to its appeal. This car came with all the following when it rolled off the assembly line in Norwood, Ohio: --Cowl Hood --Front and Rear Spoilers (D80) --Console --Instrument Gauges --Tachometer **I've received a few questions asking how I know this car came with all these options. Here are the explanations: Cowl Hood - Car has factory piercing on the firewall for the cowl hood wiring…very different than pierced aftermarket.Spoilers - D80 code on original trim tag, with original rivets proving this tag has never been removed from this car. Also, all trunks had two torsion springs, but the spoiler cars had to have one torsion spring that is larger than the other standard one to support the added weight of the spoiler…this car has the one larger torsion spring.Console/Gauges - Factory holes in floorboard denoting original placement of instrument gauges.Tachometer - The tach on this car is an original one and not a repop. Also, I have the original dash cluster when the car was refreshed and it has the tach-specific cutout in the back of it. Again, this is done by the factory, and a car with a tach added later would have this dash cluster cut in the back to make the tach fit. This car has the factory modification to the dash cluster to fit a tach. Most real Z/28 Camaros did not come with Cowl Hoods, much less all the other options this car came with, but many have them all added when they are restored. This car is one of the very few to have been ordered with all these options from the factory. This is NOT your average 69 Z/28 Camaro. Car does not come with its original 302 DZ engine, although you wouldn't know it by looking under the hood. This fact alone keeps this car from being priced over $50,000. Engine is very strong and does include correct valve covers and functional cowl induction setup. If you are looking for a real X-Code, Z/28 Camaro with all the ORIGINAL cool options you could ever want and priced to sell, then you have found your car. You can't imagine how this car handles with its special track suspension and sounds with its original style dual exhaust.
