Why is this car so pretty? The Coupe underwent a cosmetic euro conversion to restore the sleek lines of the German version. Gone are the ugly bumpers - replaced with the original front and rear bumpers, front spoiler, rear trim pieces, trunk spoiler, and clear turn signals. To complete the upgrades I’ve added 16” BBS RZ Style5 plus 2 wheels. All of the ‘euro’ parts are BMW OEM. I spent a year procuring all of the parts from England and Germany. Engine and transmission are in great condition and are both completely stock except for a short shift kit has been added to reduce the long shift throws. Shifting is smooth and clutch is strong. Blue leather interior is in really nice condition. I was lucky enough to find two Recaro powered sport seats, dyed to match the existing blue interior. Original steering wheel has been replaced by an E30 sport steering wheel. Headliner is tight and complete. All windows and sunroof works. The body is straight and has never been to a body shop except for the euro conversion. There is rust appearing at both rear fender wells and a little on the upper front fender seams. No rust whatsoever around any structural components. A minor service was just completed at a well respected local BMW shop. Only problem reported was a missing exhaust system hanger. A major service was completed 2,000 miles ago prior to moving the car to Massachusetts. The Coupe has a current Massachusetts state inspection, having passed in April 2015. I have all service records. Car has a clean title and service records validate the mileage. I’m selling the Coupe after 12 years of ownership because this beautiful car is hardly ever driven. Cape Cod weather favors my Mercedes CLK convertible. The BMW always draws a lot of attention. Recent visit to local BMW dealer brought all of the sales staff out with their cameras. BMW owners continue to complement the car's strong engine, transmission, and how tight the body felt. The State of Maryland originally issued an incorrect title showing the wrong mileage, requiring a corrected title to be issued, consequently resulting in the lower Autocheck score. Service records clearly document the odometer readings.
