Vehicle Detail

One owner since Feb 2005. when we bought this from Auotowest Chrysler in the Roseville automall. It was a previous service loaner and was immaculate. It has since been my daily driver for 10 years. It has never been in any kind of accident at all, and outside of a scrape from a shopping cart on the front left bumper, and a little tiny ding from a fence post on the back right bumper, and a clearcoat key scratch on the back left door the body is cool. As for the mechanical side of things.. Outside of an alternator and water pump replacement and a few minor dealership visits the car has been so solid. We once had a small dent in back door that was repaired and all handled by insurance shop... I have never had any major problems with this car until now and it has never been dogged on or roughed up, pretty much babied it from day one. So about 3 weeks ago, the car sprung a leak in part of the water pump system where the bleeder valve housing is and had it towed to the shop. They replaced the full water valve system that day. I also have a service to vehicle and had them do a smog check because we were going to sell car it was getting to be time and after putting new battery, new tires, wipers, and window motors I felt that the costs would start to pile up. Well, they replaced all the EGR valves and passed CA smog on 9/26. THE AMOUNT OF $865 WAS PAID (RECEIPT SHOWN IN PICTURES) Took it home and no problem whatsoever, car was running 100% normal. Drove the car to work for next 2 weeks as normal. On my way home Thursday night I felt a racing feeling in the engine, and then when I stopped at the next light I heard a whine and felt a clunk, pulled over let the car idle while I turned off the radio and listened to the engine outside, hears loud ticking, thought it might be tranny or something so shut the car off and towed it home. Called the repair shop and asked what it could be, they couldnt guess over the phone and was adamant it had nothing to do with the repairs they just did (202 miles on the odometer since repair) so the shop sent a mechanic over to take a look. After about 10 minutes of looking and listening he drove the car to the end of the block and back and came back and said he thinks its in the bottom of the engine, and feels that the bearings at the very least need to be looked at and they would have to pull the pan and diagnose and replace at a cost of minimum $500 for just looking and as much as $1500 or more to fix it. So I'm done, we went and bought a new Challenger on Saturday and now this is up for sale as is. Here is what you get. You get the car in the pictures. Exactly how you see it. Clean Title, been paid off for several years Car is smogged (just smogged on 9/26) Car is CA registered until Feb 2016 Car has 20 inch rims and good tires Car has new battery Car has all working electronics, never had any electrical problems Motors were replaced in front door windows a couple years ago Car had an oil change and service, including all emmissions valves replaced new on 9/25 Car has both keys, but only one works for alarm, trunk, etc CAR STARTS RIGHT UP BUT HAS TICKING NOISE AND WILL CLUNK IF YOU DRIVE IT CAR IS SOLD AS IS NEEDS ENGINE REPAIRS BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING COSTS IF PURCHASED OUT OF STATE ALL SALE FINAL NO WARRANTY BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIR CAR MUST BE TOWED OR SHIPPED AWAY. DO NOT DRIVE THIS CAR UNTIL YOU REPAIR AT WORST CASE YOU HAVE A RUNNING PARTS CAR OR MECHANIC DEAL OF YEAR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS EARLY BECAUSE VEHICLE IS ALSO LISTED LOCALLY
