This is a beautiful example of a 1983 928S. 4.7L v8, rare 5spd manual. It runs and shifts strong, no smoke or noises – sounds so good. This car has only 58,000 original miles! I drive this car so the mileage may vary. Paint is beautiful and seems original – as far as I can tell there has never been any body or paint work – except for the trim strips – I repainted those. The car has been fully serviced recently. Engine oil, Coolant, Brake fluid plus all filters (oil, air, fuel). A/C blows cold. Both windows and sunroof work. Timing belt with OEM rollers were replaced – Including shoulder bolt and tensioner boot – set tension correctly with special tool. New water pump and thermostat. List of additional NEW parts – 4 Goodyear Eagle tires, Battery (1100CA), Bosch Spark plugs (correct), plug wires, distributor cap/rotor button, Bosch fuel pump, Cam cap gaskets on back of heads, Wipers, hood/trunk lift supports, OE shifter ball stud, Rubber exhaust hangers (OE), Both Brake pressure/light switches on MC, Inner and outer tie rods with rack boots. No warning lights on and Oil pressure and temperature are good and maintain well. Brakes are newer with good looking rotors/pads. Shifts well and syncros seem good. Current WV inspection sticker. There are some small nicks in the paint but no dents and nothing larger than an eraser. The interior is good overall the passenger seat has some cracking and the dash has a few cracks - both very common on these cars. The windshield also has one crack (not in your field of view) The power antenna doesnt work. The cruise control works sporadically. The fuel gauge bounces sometimes - but works.
