Using the same power train as the E-350 and borrowing heavily from the same technology underpinning the Chrysler Pacifica, Mercedes engineered what it hoped would be the ultimate family carrier. Fitted with stylistic "bug eye" head lamps, generous interior proportions, seating for six (4 adults and 2 children), and all the standard Mercedes amenities, including navigation, leather, sunroof, wood trim and a quiet comfortable ride the R-350 was (and remain) everything the aspiring family could want. This particular R-350 was purchased by my wife and I in 2006, At the time we bought it, it has roughly 24,000 miles on it. Since then it has seen the birth of our three children and has been gently used with a little over 76,000 miles being placed on it in the past nine (9) years. All services have been done on schedule and the tires are new with less than 1,000 miles on them. I recently replaced the ABS module and changed the oil. All the gauges and switches work, the A/C is ice cold, the car is not throwing any codes, the interior is immaculate, the paint is good (with a few minor blemishes) and the car runs and drives perfectly. The only known defect in the car is that the drivers seat is stuck in one position. However, I am 64" tall and my wife is 54" tall and we can both drive the car comfortably. Thus, as it sits, the car is in buy, it driver it, enjoy it condition. As this is a personal vehicle being sold through the dealership, I am open to reasonable offers but really do not want to bothered with unrealistic offers. The winning bidder must respond within 2 days after the auction with a $500 deposit required via wire transfer, Visa/MC, or certified funds(cashiers check) to start the transaction.
