Not only are these vehicles comfortable and roomy, the V8 model came very nicely equipped. This vehicle is equipped with the rare 4.4 L DOHC V8 teamed with a six-speed automatic transaxle. Topping all of this off, it is an ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD) version. Don’t be fooled, not all XC90s are AWD. This one is! We heard about this vehicle and checked it out before it was offered for sale. Then, we snatched it right up while other dealers stood around with their jaws on the ground wondering how that just happened! This vehicle is very clean and cared for. But, of course, you expect vehicles this nice from Grove Automotive Group, Inc.! Options: Finished in a green-silver metallic with a soft tan colored upholstery, this VERY CLEAN 2006 Volvo XC90 AWD V8features about everything that you expect in this Swedish luxury SUV beginning with the smooth and responsive 4.4 L DOHC V8 teamed with a six-speed automatic transaxle, driver, passenger, side and roof SRS (air bags), electronically controlled ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD), automatic climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), Volvo’s own SIPS (Side Impact Protection System), rear DVD entertainment center, factory sunroof, power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power seats, factory alloy wheels, factory sound system, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, rear window defroster, folding rear seats, third row seating, driver’s information center, service reminder system, factory security system, and much more! Yet ANOTHER Clean Alabama Ride! This vehicle is riding on a BRAND NEW set of Pirelli® Scorpion Verde® premium tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this nice XC90 in for service and found things in very good order. It appears that the prior owner has taken care of the vehicle quite well. For starters, we did an oil/filter change. This vehicle holds 7.1 QTS of engine oil and Volvo specifies conventional oil for their vehicles of this vintage. No synthetic oils are required. Continuing under the hood, we looked around and found everything to be in good order. It appears that the prior owner has done the recommended service items on time. Since this vehicle does not have a timing belt, that routine service is unnecessary. Finishing up under the hood, we replaced the hood struts as they seemed a bit week and also vacuumed out the air intake box. Those boxes tend to accumulate debris like leaves and sand, so we cleaned that out for you. Looking over the chassis, the brakes looked good, both front and rear. The tires were getting thin so we replaced them with a BRAND NEW set of Pirelli® Scorpion Verde® premium tires! Going over the climate control system, we added 2 ounces of refrigerant oil and topped off the system. Everything seemed to be in good order. We also changed the cabin air filter for you. Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear. Shop around and then ADD IT UP! Why buy one that needs work? How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself?
