I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. In case you aren't familiar with the Grand Cherokee 5.9L, they were produced to celebrate the final year of this body style and were the absolute top of the line trim level offered. However, the Grand Cherokee 5.9L is much more than a Grand Cherokee with a big engine crammed under the hood. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking Jeep. It is finished in white over black, which looks great. The white finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body panels line up straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The exterior shows very well. The only rust I could find was under the rear lift gate and a little bit hiding behind the molding on the left fender, both of which are common with age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a new set of Michelins's. This Jeep has had $1,000 worth of Michelin's installed within the last few thousand miles. On the exterior, there are a few subtle clues as to the exclusive nature of this Jeep. For example, the grill has painted inserts. The hood has functional heat extracting louvers. The roof rack has a slim profile. The body side mouldings are more contoured than those of the standard Grand Cherokee Limited. Lastly, the five spoke alloy wheels are specific to the Grand Cherokee 5.9L. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Jeep looks. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior is full of more subtle differences that set the 5.9L Limited's apart from lesser models. The interior is trimmed in calf grain leather, which is soft and supple. The gear shifter for the transmission and transfer case as well as the parking brake handle are leather, as is the center arm rest...as opposed to the plastic found in every other Grand Cherokee. The rear seat has a fold down arm rest, also unique to the 5.9L. The sound system is more powerful and features a sound bar. Also, the wood trim is different. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. As you open the door to this Jeep, you immediately struck with the scent of the luxurious Calf Grain leather seating. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The dash and headliner are clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L. The headliner is in perfect condition. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner will freeze you out. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with CD and steering wheel controls, which sounds great. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A complete set of books as well as two keys and two remotes are included. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 245hp/345tq 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. She idles with a low, mellow growl. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes great power and accelleration is impressive. When these were new, they were the fastest SUV on the road, with accelleration that puts many "sports cars" to shame. Behind the high performance 5.9L engine is a beefed up transmission and transfer case to handle the extra power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. The Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This rare Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2016. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. In case you aren't familiar with the Grand Cherokee 5.9L, they were produced to celebrate the final year of this body style and were the absolute top of the line trim level offered. However, the Grand Cherokee 5.9L is much more than a Grand Cherokee with a big engine crammed under the hood. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a great looking Jeep. It is finished in white over black, which looks great. The white finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body panels line up straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The exterior shows very well. The only rust I could find was under the rear lift gate and a little bit hiding behind the molding on the left fender, both of which are common with age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a new set of Michelins's. This Jeep has had $1,000 worth of Michelin's installed within the last few thousand miles. On the exterior, there are a few subtle clues as to the exclusive nature of this Jeep. For example, the grill has painted inserts. The hood has functional heat extracting louvers. The roof rack has a slim profile. The body side mouldings are more contoured than those of the standard Grand Cherokee Limited. Lastly, the five spoke alloy wheels are specific to the Grand Cherokee 5.9L. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Jeep looks.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior is full of more subtle differences that set the 5.9L Limited's apart from lesser models. The interior is trimmed in calf grain leather, which is soft and supple. The gear shifter for the transmission and transfer case as well as the parking brake handle are leather, as is the center arm rest...as opposed to the plastic found in every other Grand Cherokee. The rear seat has a fold down arm rest, also unique to the 5.9L. The sound system is more powerful and features a sound bar. Also, the wood trim is different. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. As you open the door to this Jeep, you immediately struck with the scent of the luxurious Calf Grain leather seating. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The dash and headliner are clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L. The headliner is in perfect condition. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner will freeze you out. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with CD and steering wheel controls, which sounds great. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A complete set of books as well as two keys and two remotes are included.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 245hp/345tq 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. She idles with a low, mellow growl. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes great power and accelleration is impressive. When these were new, they were the fastest SUV on the road, with accelleration that puts many "sports cars" to shame. Behind the high performance 5.9L engine is a beefed up transmission and transfer case to handle the extra power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. The Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This rare Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2016. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. CARS' Power Train Limited Warranty covers all lubricated parts contained within the engine block, all lubricated parts contained within the transmission housing, drive axle lubricated parts, drive shaft, universal joints, CV joints and wheel bearings. Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
