1982 Mecham Racing Trans Am MSE This 1982 Mecham Racing Trans Am MSE (Motor Sports Edition) is number 0036-R. This car is one of one. Mecham built approximately 300 cars in 1982. Only 10 red cars where produced by Dennis Mecham that year. This is the only one known that is red with black louvers. These cars were built by Mecham Racing who had dealerships in Glendale Arizona and Tacoma Washington. The car has a 305 Elderbrock, 600 Holley carburetor, headers, Git-kit, 350 turbo Transmission, 3:70 Positraction, 4 wheel disc brakes, aluminum drive shaft, special handling package with koni front struts, rear travel limiters, super big sway bars & Special gauges, MSE steering wheel, MSE sound system, and Koni suspension, power windows.
