For sale we have a 1991 Porsche Carrera 2 911 (964 body) Convertible. This rare gem was traded in at Porsche of Roslyn where it was taken in a trade for a newer porsche. The car was maintained at Porsche of Roslyn for the last 13 years. This car runs and drives like brand new. The 3.6L H6 FI engine starts right up, sounds healthy and idles smoothly. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly thru out all the gears with no issues and no synchro issues, the clutch grabs strong and it does not slip. The car is a joy to drive and it handles amazing. The brakes are firm and they stop the car on a dime! The convertible top does not leak and it is in great shape. The tires have plenty of tread left on the car. The outside body is very clean and the rare green paint still shines like day one. The interior is very well maintained. The dash has no cracks. The rear goes up and down as it should. The windows are automatic and they go up an down as it should. The door locks also work as they should. The frame is rock solid and the car has no rust. The car comes with a rebuilt title as it got one back in 04/22/1994 when it had 7,855 miles. You will have no problems registering the car as it went thru inspections and it was given a rebuilt title. Also the cluster was replaced as the mph was getting slugish. The car is a joy to drive and it turns heads everywhere you go. These cars are only going up in value as you know everyone wants the classic air cooled porsches. Absolutely no test drives on the car as we have the car locked indoors in a heated garage.
